Full text search
IntelliShop 6 sets up a full text search index over configurable boxes of your base of articles, which helps your customer to search particularly fast. This full text search index makes it possible to do a real time search even in the case of large or very large data stocks. The search results are listed according to their relevance; less suitable articles are listed at the bottom of the search list.

Fault-tolerant search / similarity search
Especially in the case of technical and complicated article names, it is important that spelling mistakes are recognised and compensated for. IntelliShop 6 can carry out a fault-tolerant search in two steps. Besides the recognition and correction of simple spelling mistakes and the generation of root words, a search can also be carried out according to language patterns. The entered search terms are transformed into a sound pattern by which the search is then carried out. In this way, even extremely misspelt search terms can lead to correct search results, e.g. when entering assberiiinn, "Aspirin" will still be found.

Product adviser
In order to make it particularly easy for your customers to find the right product in your stock, it is important to be able to limit the amount of products to be chosen from by means of the properties.

For this purpose, you can allocate properties to every article in the IntelliShop 6 management menu. Examples would be dimensions, functions, areas of use, target group etc. This information can be loaded over interfaces to your ERP system.

Thanks to the properties allocated to the articles, your customer is now able to quickly and easily find the product he wants.

IntelliShop 6 displays all possible features to the customer. With one click, he can set one of these properties as a request. All products not having this property are faded out and a new compilation of the remaining selected properties is calculated immediately.
