An important factor for the success of your eCommerce project is the best possible incorporation of your online shop in search engines and web catalogues.

It is most important that the contents and technical data interact in such a way that the crawlers of the search engines can easily go through your shop and read the contents correctly.

IntelliShop 6 recognises not only all important search engines and provides these with optimized click paths and extensive meta-information, but also disposes of direct links for some search engines.

IntelliShop 6 can, for example, provide a specially prepared list of contents over an XML interface of the Google search engine that contains expanded information about your online shop. Subsequently, the Google crawler does not draw up its own (possibly incomplete) page catalogue but orientates itself towards the XML file provided by IntelliShop 6 on incorporating your page in the catalogue. This ensures that all desired pages are known to the crawler – cleared of session earmarks – and that it can include them in a proper and complete form.
