Product groups

The intelligent use of several filing structures supports you when setting up intuitively usable and logical ways of operating and thus supports your customer in quickly finding the products wanted in your shop. This is of particular importance as many customers find long searches annoying, which can lead to a reduction in the will to buy or even termination.

Hierarchical product groups
In IntelliShop 6, you can map as many ramified and unlimitedly deep tree structures as you want to categorise your articles. Even the number or parallel usable and independent tree structures is unlimited.

Multi-storing of articles in product groups
It is often useful to be able to store an article in several product groups as the customer should find them quickly or because it can be used as an accessory to articles from different product groups. IntelliShop 6 provides you with the function of linking an article to several product groups without having to put it in more than once. The advantage is perfectly obvious: later on, you don not have to update several articles but only make alterations once.

Product adviser / property-related product selection
In order to make it particularly easy for your customers to find the right product in your stock, it is important to be able to limit the amount of products to be chosen from by means of the properties.

For this purpose, you can allocate properties to every article in the IntelliShop 6 management menu. Examples would be dimensions, functions, areas of use, target group etc.

This information can be loaded over interfaces to your ERP system.

Thanks to the properties allocated to the articles, your customer is now able to quickly and easily find the product he wants.

IntelliShop 6 displays all possible features to the customer. With one click, he can set one of these properties as a request. All products not having this property are faded out and a new compilation of the remaining selected properties is calculated immediately.
